Coral Island by Private Charter from Phuket

Coral Island sits just 15 minutes by boat from Chalong Pier, making it one of the easiest island escapes from Phuket. The main beach, Banana Beach, curves in a wide crescent of fine white sand fringed by shallow turquoise water that stays calm through most of the year.

Snorkelling is excellent right off the beach, with hard coral formations and schools of colourful reef fish within wading depth. Beyond the reef, the water drops to around 10 metres where you will find sea urchins, anemones and the occasional sea turtle passing through.

On a private charter you arrive before the day-trip crowds, anchor in the quietest bay, and have the run of the beach. Parasailing, banana boats and sea walking are available on the island, or you can simply swim, eat grilled seafood at one of the beachside restaurants, and do absolutely nothing.
